Summer Fun Pinterest Boards
Although many people are shifting their focus to the start of school, we are still hanging on to summer here and spending as much time in the pool as possible. This is also the point in the summer when many parents start to run out of ideas to keep their kids happily occupied.
So to help you find a wealth of ideas to celebrate all that is glorious about summer, I have collected a list of my very favorite summer Pinterest boards for families. So enjoy exploring and let us know how you are still celebrating the season!

Hi! There’s a lot of fun things here. I’d like to make a special request, I’m in need of ideas for my kids and I. We live in a full carpet I’m struggling to find things to do in doors. We don’t out as often as I’d like as the kids are 2 1/2 and 7mth, as I on’t drive. Its challenge to keep my toddler out of mischief will keep and an eye baby girl out doors. I look forward to your suggestions.
That is tough! I totally understand your problem. I have a 3 1/2 yo and a 7 mth, and it is a real challenge to keep the older one occupied while I take care of the baby. Here are some ideas: http://alldonemonkey.wordpress.com/2012/09/04/quiet-time-activities/. Also, my son loves to play with play dough or any kind of messy play. Sometimes I set him up in the kitchen with a few bowls and scoops and flour or cornmeal so he can “cook” for us. Maybe also set him up at the sink with some bowls and cups so he can play in the water? We also recently got an easel from IKEA which he has fun with. He also loves maze books, those pre-writing ones with easy puzzles and coloring pages. Crayola puts out several nice ones. Hope that helps!
I never said ‘thank you’ for this great round up! I had so much fun surfing thru all the summer boards over the past few months. Thanks for including us and for all the work to put the list together!
My pleasure! It took me a while to do because I was having too much fun playing around on all of the boards 🙂 Thank you for letting me share yours!
