Explore the World Through Books: Kids Yoga Stories Giveaway {Children’s Book Week Giveaway Hop 2014}

When I was a kid, there was one main public library in our small New Jersey township. The children’s section was downstairs, and I remember spending hours wandering through the rows upon rows of books, as the afternoon sunlight filtered through the high windows. I learned about a tesseract, traveled on a pirate ship, went back to the time of the dinosaurs, found the golden ticket, opened a long-neglected door to a hidden garden, and pushed through the winter coats at the back of a wardrobe into a distant, wintery land.
I also held hands with a young girl much like me, forced to live in a cramped attic with her family during the Nazi terror; mourned the death of a beloved younger sister from scarlet fever; and traveled along the Underground Railway to freedom.
Books took me out of our small town to a bigger, wider world and allowed me to step into the homes and hearts of people long ago and faraway.
Today I can see this same magical transformation taking place all over again with my son, as books take us to China, Costa Rica, and Australia; propel us to the moon on a rocket ship; and carry us deep underground in a magic school bus to discover the inside of the earth.
Books truly open up the world to our children, so to celebrate Children’s Book Week, I have teamed up again with one of my favorite authors, Giselle Shardlow, to give away a Kids Yoga Stories book to one lucky reader!
My readers already know what a big fan I am of Kids Yoga Stories. These unique books are a wonderful, fun way to teach your children yoga poses, which are woven into stories set around the world. My son loves flying to Costa Rica with Sophia, hopping like a kangaroo in Australia with Luke, and winding down at night with the animals of the world.
And now I am so happy to share one of these stories with a lucky reader! Enter the Rafflecopter below for your chance to win the Kids Yoga Stories book of your choice. It just doesn’t get any easier!
Visit the Kids Yoga Books store to see the books you can choose from if you win! (And be sure to enter her own giveaway for another chance to win!)

My favorite book to read with my grandson is any book that he picks out and wants Grandma to read. I love reading the Dr. Seuss books with him. He loves the book “Are You My Mother?”.
“Are You My Mother?” was an early favorite with my son! Perhaps because of all the animals. What a lucky grandson you have, to have a grandmother who loves to read with him!
