Ayyám-i-Há is a holiday celebrated by Bahá’ís around the world every year at the end of February. It is a time of charity and celebrations, just before the 19 day Fast that leads up to our New Year on the first day of spring.
This year we have updated our holiday gift guide to help people find special gifts for loved ones during this wonderful festival. While gift-giving is not a main focus of Ayyám-i-Há, many people chose to exchange presents as a way to celebrate this joyful time.
As a result, we have put together a collection of some of our favorite websites from around the internet, including those that sell quality products and those that offer tutorials for making special homemade gifts. For ease of browsing, websites have been labeled to indicate which are Bahá’í-inspired, eco-friendly, family-owned/family-run, and/or carry multicultural products.
Another important aspect of Ayyám-i-Há is doing service for others. It is a great time for families and communities to come together to help others, so you will also find below a list of great family service projects.
