Books for Kids
Where Is God?by Lawrence and Karen Kushner explores a very abstract concept in a way that is accessible to little ones. This non-denominational book uses wonderful paintings with diverse characters interacting in loving ways. Another great kids’ book from the Kushners is What Does God Look Like?
ABC Book of Baha’i Prayers and Writings is one of the few Baha’i board books I have found. A short quotation for every letter of the alphabet, with beautiful photographs.
When I was looking for a Bible that I could share with my toddler, I turned to a dear friend of mine, a deeply committed Christian and mother to three young children. Her recommendation was The Beginner’s Bible from Zonderkidz, which we love. This edition really brings Bible stories to a level young children can relate to, with simple, engaging illustrations that keep their attention.

A Baha’i-inspired site with incredible resources for nurturing spiritual development in our children and ourselves. We especially love the “Radiant Hearts” program. We have participated in this amazing program since its launch, as discussed in this review.
